Head of Individual Giving - Job Share

Donmar Warehouse is an intimate 251-seat, not-for-profit theatre in Central London. They seek an enthusiastic and energetic individual with at least 5 years experience of fundraising from individuals, to join them in the role of Head of Individual Giving.This role is offered on a job share basis and will work alongside our existing Head of Individual Giving to co-lead the ambitious and energetic individual giving team at the Donmar three days per week. The appointed candidate will have a working specialism in major giving OR memberships.The Head of Individual Giving is a key senior role within the Development Team with direct responsibility for the overall management and strategic view of the Donmar’s membership giving – from Friends at £75 to Platinum Director’s Forum at £12,000.The position is also responsible for working collaboratively with the Director of Development to research, plan, recruit, and steward major gifts of £25k and above, as well as be a key collaborator in the planning of the upcoming Capital Campaign.The Head of Individual Giving will manage the Development Manager and Friends Coordinator. They will actively set best practice, and support the individual giving team in delivering a top level of service and stewardship to all individual supporters, including thoughtful communications, accurate and HMRC compliant record-keeping and timely acknowledgement of all gifts.The post holder will also work closely with the Development and Education Committee.
