Morgan Sindall, a leading UK construction and regeneration firm, has launched a paid three-month flexible returner programme with opportunities available in numerous locations across the UK.
Who is the programme for?
The programme aims to recruit people with management to senior-management level experience, who have taken a voluntary career break of at least 18 months. They are also interested in hearing from people at all levels who have taken a career break but have experience and/or qualifications in construction, infrastructure or related industries.Experience of construction and infrastructure is not a pre-requisite for every role - but a genuine interest in the sector is.The programme will offer successful applicants mentoring and coaching support as well as training and updating technical skills where relevant.

- Project Management
- Commercial Management
- Quantity Surveying
- Design
- Estimating
- Bid Management
- General Management
- Procurement, and
- Civil Engineering
Morgan Sindall have placements on sites all over the UK with offices in London, Rugby, Cambridge, Birmingham, Yeovil, Norwich, Slough, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Cumbria and more.
Flexibility
The unique thing about this programme is the flexibility - it starts part-time to ease you into the return-to-work process! In the first month you'll be required 3-days per week, the second month 4-days per week and the third month will be full time at 5-days per week.At the end of the programme, if you're offered a permanent position you can either work full time or a flexible working arrangement can be agreed.
The application process
Applications close on 15 December 2017. If your initial application is successful you'll be asked to complete a personality profiling questionnaire and then attend an assessment day in a central location (to be announced) on 30 January 2018.
