Bank of England Career Returners Programme 2022 A paid, six-month placement commencing April 2022, that could lead to a permanent job. Roles are available in the following teams: Prudential Regulation Authority, Monetary Analysis, Financial Stability Strategy & Risk, Technology. Apply on the BoE careers website from October 2021
Wells Fargo Glide Returners Programme 2021 A paid 8 week placement starting September 2021, with roles available in London, Dublin and Dusseldorf. Returner opportunities are available in a number of specific roles including investment banking law, data privacy law, real estate financing, audit, corporate tax, loans and sales. Moody’s Re-Ignite Return to Work Programme A 16 week paid full time programme to support individuals retiring to work after a minimum two year career break (unpaid or small scale/self employed work during that hiatus is not included). Roles are currently available in London in Sales & Marketing but other roles will become available on a rolling basis. More details and how to apply here
Blackrock London Returners Programme A London based six month return to work programme, commencing in September 2021, for up to 10 candidates with prior experience in Investment Management or broader Financial Services, and who have had a career break outside of the industry of at least 18 months (with no upper limit). Please note this returnship is described as being for those seeking to return to full-time employment. Applications are now closed
Lloyds Banking Group Returners Programme A 16 week return to work programme, commencing in September 2021, with virtual assessments in June and July 2021. This year returner opportunities are available in Group Transformation, Finance and Commercial Banking roles. Applications are now closed
Citi Return to Work Programme This 12 month programme comprises a structured induction period, followed by a tailored programme of professional development (including professional qualifications), for returners who have had a minimum two year career break and are now looking to return to – or move into – the finance sector. In 2021, Citi will be running its Return to Work Programme in several cities including London, Dublin and Belfast. Belfast applications, for technology roles, are open until 27 August 2021. UBS Career Comeback Programme 2021 The UBS Career Comeback Programme is designed for professionals with relevant experience who have been on a career break or out of the traditional workplace for two or more years. Unlike many other return to work programmes, the UBS Career Comeback Programme recruits individuals directly into permanent roles, supporting their return to work with mentoring, coaching and classroom learning. Full time and part time (minimum 60% of full-time equivalent) opportunities are available. Applications are now closed
Credit Suisse Real Returns Programme Europe 2021 London-based returnship running 6 September to 24 December 2021. Designed for VP level or above (or equivalent) professionals with financial services or professional services background, returning to work after a two year or longer career break. Barclays Encore! Returnship Programme Barlcays says it is currently planning for its 2021 Encore! Returnship Programme in UK & Ireland. It will be a 12 week programme for individuals with a career break of at least one year. Usually roles are available in Risk, Private Banking and Investment Banking (including Research, Banking and Markets) and we expect the same for the 2021 Returnship Programme. dunnhumby Returners Programme 2021 A 5 month paid returnship programme starting September 2021, offering the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme. Roles are available across the business including in Data Science, Technology Services, IT Service Management, IT Engineering and Corporate Systems, with the focus on candidates with mid-to-senior level experience who have taken a minimum two year career break (including those working on a part time or freelance basis during that break). Willmott Dixon Welcome Back Programme Starting in September 2021, this programme offers a 20 week paid placement for people with a career break over more than one year (or more than one year out of the construction industry). Candidates with a background in main contracting, residential building or interior fit-out are invited to apply, but so are professionals from other industries with transferable skills. ASOS Returners Programme 2021 Starting in May 2021, this returnship programme offers a paid 6 month placement in the business’ Technology group for people returning after a career break of two or more years. Birmingham/Remote Working roles, with all roles initially working from home. Seeking returners with skills in Project Management/Business Analysis, Software Engineering (C#), Web Development (JavaScript, React), QA Engineering (C#) or Data Engineering. Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Capital Markets RLaunch Program 2021 is geared toward senior-level candidates who have been on a voluntary career break for longer than one year. Wellcome Trust Research Career Re-Entry Fellowships If you have taken a career break of more than two years, and you already have a PhD and postdoctoral experience, the Wellcome Trust is offering a fellowship for up to four years to help you re-establish your research career. Mazars Returner Programme Mazars are offering a 16 week supported return to work for experienced professionals at Manager level or above in financial services, accountancy or professional services. JPMorgan Chase Re-Entry Program 2021 A paid 14 week returnship for experienced professionals who are currently on a voluntary career break of more than two years, offered in several major UK cities. The program runs March to June 2021, with the prospect of a permanent job offer at the end to successful candidates. Applications are now closed
Sky Returners Programme 2021 A six month return to work programme, starting in April 2021. The programme is designed for people who have taken a break from their previous careers for two or more years and have experience working within any of the following positions: Programme / Project Manager/ Business Analysis, Delivery Manager, Developers, Testers, Scrum Masters, Engineers (Data, DevOps, Network, T&D), Data Scientist, Product Lead / Product Owners / Product Managers, Cyber Security Specialist, Financial Manager (qualified accountant or equivalent experience). Facebook Return to Work Programme 2021 (Ireland) A paid 16 week immersive programme for people who have been away from work for two years or longer and who wish to return full time.
