UBS Career Comeback Programme 2022
The UBS Career Comeback Programme is designed for professionals with relevant experience who have been on a career break or out of the traditional workplace for two or more years. The UBS Career Comeback Programme recruits individuals directly into permanent roles, supporting their return to work with mentoring, coaching and classroom learning. Willmott Dixon Welcome Back Programme 2022
Starting in September 2022, this programme offers a 20 week paid placement for people with a career break over more than one year (or more than one year out of the construction industry). Candidates with a background in main contracting, residential building or interior fit-out are invited to apply, but so are professionals from other industries with transferable skills. Willmott Dixon also offers ongoing supported hiring opportunities, with roles available throughout the year. More details on both types of roles and how to apply here
Aviva Investors Return to Work Programme 2023
A six month return to work programme designed for finance professionals with a background in Financial Services or Asset Management, with a career break of 18 months or longer. Aviva Investors have said they are open to exploring to flexible working and working from home arrangements. Applications open 5th January until 23rd January 2023. More details here
ScottishPower Returners Programme 2022/2023
A paid 9-12 month placement for STEM professionals returning to work after a career break of 12 months or more, in locations across the UK. Apply here
Morgan Stanley Return to Work Programme 2023
This paid 16 week London-based Return to Work Programme will run from March to June 2023, with opportunities potentially available in Investment Management, Global Capital Markets, Fixed Income and other banking areas, as well as Technology, Legal & Compliance, Finance and HR and more. Bank of England Career Returner’s Programme 2023
A six month paid returnship, starting in June 2023, the Bank of England recruits into specific roles which are shown on its website. Applications will close once all roles are filled
JP Morgan Chase ReEntry Program 2023
A paid 15 week returnship programme, for experienced professionals on a career break of two years or longer and who are seeing a return to full time employment. They are seeking candidates who were at Associate or VP level (or equivalent) when they left employment. The program will commence in March 2023. Applications close 28 January 2023
Citi Reactivate Your Career Programme 2023
This is a supported hiring programme, with permanent roles on offer that are combined with a supportive and structured 18 month returner programme. They are looking for candidates who have had a career break over two years or more, and who are interest in a career in financial services whether their background is in the finance sector, the tech sector or another industry altogether.

Lloyds Banking Group Returners Programme
This well established and highly respected returners programme is a supported hire programme, meaning that successful candidates are recruited into permanent roles from Day 1. They are provided with a supportive, 16 week onboard ing programme, to help them transition back to work. Candidates should have a career break of 18 months or more, and it is not necessary to have banking or professional services experience provided you can demonstrate relevant transferable skills. Moody’s Re-Ignite Return to Work Programme
A 16 week paid full time programme to support individuals retiring to work after a minimum two year career break (unpaid or small scale/self employed work during that hiatus is not included). Roles are currently available in London in Sales & Marketing but other roles will become available on a rolling basis. More details and how to apply here
Allianz offers a supported hiring approach to its returners, offering a permanent role from the beginning along with coaching, mentoring and networking to help with the transition back to work. Amazon offers paid 16 week returnship programmes in a range of disciplines including Finance, software engineering, project management, sales and account management. Successful candidates will work on a number of projects, and be offered training and mentorship during the return ship period, with permanent job offers available subject to performance. Financial Conduct Authority Returnship (Senior Associate Specialist Supervision)

Govia Thameslink Railway Returner Supported Hiring Programme
Govia Thameslink Rail is offering a supported hiring programme for people from all backgrounds who would like to become Trainee Train Driver. The are seeking candidates who have had a career break of 18 months or longer, and they will provide full training as well as a permanent paid role from the first day. Roles commence in January 2023. London Stock Exchange Group Returner Programme
The London Stock Exchange Group has launched a new returner programme in 2022, focusing on returners who have had a career break of 18 months or more. This is a supported hiring programme, with permanent jobs offered from Day 1. Applications are now closed
Diversity Project: Cross-Company Returner Programme
The Diversity Project is the coming together of ten employers to provide opportunities for experienced returners in the Investment and Savings Sector. The employers are abrdn, AON, Aviva Investors, DWS, Fidelity International, Janus Henderson, Northern Trust, PGIM Fixed Income, Schroders, WTW, with 27 roles available across roles including Research Analyst, Responsible Investment Manager, Consultant in Investment Consulting team, Global Equity Analyst, Assistant Fund Manager, Investment Director, Project Manager, Business Change Senior Manager, Portfolio Engineer, Credit Analyst, Manager Research Analyst, ESG Analyst and Portfolio Manager. Atkins offers a six month fixed term contract, beginning on 30 hours per week to help returners with a career gap of two or more years to transition back into work. As an employer, Atkins offers both flexible and remote working.
It offers roles in 15 mainly engineering and building disciples. Unlike some employers, they actively seek talented candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, and they showcase their successful returners who have 17 and 20 year career gaps. Applications are now closed

Wells Fargo offers permanent roles for successful applicants with over 7 years of professional experience before taking a career break for two years or more.
Returner opportunities are often available in a number of specific roles including investment banking law, data privacy law, real estate financing, audit, corporate tax, loans and sales. A paid 6 month returnship programme starting September 2022, offering the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme. They are looking for candidates with experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, Technology Services, IT Service Management, and Media Sales, who have taken a minimum two year career break.
